What about butyrate?

I do recommend butyrate, however most brands are poorly manufactured. The butyrate I recommend is from Designs For Health and called Tri-butyrin Supreme. It is included in the REBUILD protocol instructions. If you are not from the US, please refer to your REBUILD protocol as it may differ from the US protocol.
